Gucci sunglasses Spring/Summer 2016

It’s all about giant frames detailed with over 600 glittering crystals, butterfly shaped sunglasses flecked with pearl lacquered floral motifs, amber and green lenses in 70s square shapes. Flamboyant yet bookish, the season’s Gucci eyewear gazes into the enigmatic creative director Alessandro Michele.

From a rooftop to a warehouse club, the Spring/Summer 2016 collection is a hymn to the "Urban spaces of Berlin", which is the main theme of the ad campaign. Shot by Glen Luchford, the artistic and brutalist nature of this city contrasts against the dreamy romance of Gucci’s head-designer Alessandro Michele’s collections.

The Gucci GG 3861/S is the star of the new collection. Oversized, squared and ornated with hundreds of crystals. The bold acetate frame has got arms with a huge logo on them and the metal core of them is visible on the inside.

The Gucci 3807/S sunglasses are part of the Decor collection and has got a 50’s flavour. The floral decor on the front is all hand-made and adds an additional touch to this neat frame. It comes in several different colours although the most trendy ones are those with the yellow lenses that mirrors the mood of the collection perfectly.

Gucci GG 2281/S sunglasses are a men’s style that is destined to become an evergreen in the Gucci collection. A classic aviator shape with a metal frame is distinguished by its competitors thanks to the famous Gucci stripes on the arms.

Romantic, refined and luxurious: Gucci GG 4284 glasses is the quintessence of feminine and contemporary elegance. It’s part of the Damasco collection and is also the protagonist of the eyewear ad campaign. The front is in acetate while the delicate decorated arms are in metal.
