Porsche Design Eyewear Balltec Collection

The new Porsche Design Spring / Summer 2016 eyewear collection combines the highest quality standards, innovative technologies, best performance and an unmistakable design signature that takes a journey to the future.

The “Balltec” models come with a special sphere hinge that allows the titan temple to insert smoothly into the edgy shield front. There are two models in this mini-collection: one for the ladies with round shapes and one for the men that is more angular and distinctive.

The Porsche Design P8620 and the Porsche Design P8621 stand for sporty elegance, ultralight and simultaneously robust materials. The temples are made in titanium and the lens is a singular shield held together by the revolutionary ball hinge. Inspired by the field of aerodynamics, the hinge solution is reminiscent of the complex rotor mount of a helicopter and guarantees the highest flexibility.

The Porsche Design P8678, which is the first reinterpretation of the legendary Porsche Design P8478 titanium sunglasses with the revolutionary interchangeable lens technology. Both sunglasses convince with a frame made out of pure titanium - a material that provides outstanding durability, lightness and performance.

The new testimonial is FIA World Endurance Championship Winner Mark Webber and the glasses have already had lots of successes such as winning the German Design Award Special 2016 and Red Dot Awards 2016.
