The latest Valentino ads show fashion photographer Terry Richardson’s tattooed forearms with the Rockstud Rouge and Rockstud Noir sunglasses in his hands.
This is the first time Valentino designers have collaborated with Richardson and they noted that the images conveyed the sensual yet elegant nature of the accessories, described as objects of desire.
Shiny crystals, studs and vintage-inspired squared cat-eye silhouettes. These are the strikingly fabulous elements that collide to form Valentino’s new “Rockstud” sunglasses. To say that these sunglasses are head turners is simply an understatement. They are so much more than that. They mix a sense of refined elegance with a dose of dark attitude.
Two exclusive styles for both colours express a contemporary interpretation of the unconventional style typical from The Valentino Rockstud Universe.
These models evoke a sophisticated heritage part of the Maison’s DNA. Rouge and Noir embody the “Rock” and the “Stud” in a contemporary and unconventional twist on a vintage-inspired shape. Both special editions are embellished by a metal plaque exclusively placed on the right side of each temple.
Valentino ROCKSTUD ROUGE V679SR is enriched on the front by 464 small red-colored crystals and two bigger studs at each side of the lens for a striking look.
Adorned by 300 shimmering small crystals and 277 studs, Valentino ROCKSTUD NOIR V673SR is sophisticated and glamorous with a dark edge.
The Rockstud collection include two more minimal versions for both colours, the Valentino ROCKSTUD NOIR V682S and the Valentino ROCKSTUD ROUGE V681S.
These versions carry one bigger stud at each side of the lens.
This Valentino edition is not for the faint hearted, so be brave and don’t miss out on these daring objects of desire.
