Prada Raw Eyewear Special Project 2015

Prada has always foreseen the tendencies of fashion anticipating what aesthetics will be for the upcoming season. Prada Raw is the now Eyewear Special Project of the italian brand. It is the result of bringing together a contemporary design to an attentive selection of prestigious materials: Canaletto walnut and Malabar ebony wood. Wood is the keyword of the Collection and each single piece is therefore a unique, one-of-a-kind one and a true piece of art due to its natural wood-grains. Classic elegance and vintage contaminations are put together giving birth to important frames.

The Prada PRADA RAW SPR 30RS has been inspired by the Deluxe model, exclusively distributed in the brand’s boutiques. It is the soul of the Spring/Summer 2015 fashion show! The wooden front and the double metal bridge are in contrast with the acetate temples giving to the frames a raw, sharp taste.

The Prada PRADA RAW SPR 28RS, the only acetate frame of the Collection, still appears with a double bridge but it has been inspired by the evergreen Aviator style. Available in five different colours: total black for a more elegant look or in four bi-colour proposals.

Of course Prada could not but include its iconic Minimal-Baroque model, Prada PRADA RAW SPR 27RS, which has been revisited on occasion of this Special Project. The front is made of wood, in contrast with the twisted acetate temples.
