Persol eyewear: Calligrapher Edition

Persol this year presents an exclusive new collection: the Persol Calligrapher Edition. Persol indeed stands for supremacy, its creations are fruit of a hard and articulated work and deep knowledge just like calligraphy becomes an incredible form of art with time and precision.

The collection and its decorations are inspired by the infinite lines drawn by calligraphers when practicing their skills and it is presented by Paul Antonio Scribe, the official calligrapher of the British Royal family.

What Persol aims at underlining is that just like the letters in calligraphy go from being practical instruments to artistic expressions, the same way eyewear is yes an instrument to protect and correct one's eyes but it also becomes a symbol of what that person is and gives him/her an aesthetic twist!

The Calligapher family is made of four different frames: two sunglasses and two eyeglasses. The main characteristic is that all four frames are a mix of materials: metal and acetate, one of the season's MUST-HAVE.
