Moscot Eyewear: a classic has arrived

Moscot Eyewear: a classic has arrived
-

Founded in 1915, Moscot Eyewear is one of the oldest spectacle companies still in business. It was founded by Belarus immigrant Hyman Moscot on Lower East Side in New York.

Moscot’s style is classic and intellectual and matches the Classic American style perfectly.

Moscot is renowned for its particular care of details as well as its collaborations with American actors and journalists.

The Moscot Lemtosh is the most famous style of the brand and has been promoted worldwide by actors like Johnny Depp, Robert Downey Jr and Helena Bonnham Carter. It’s a round a bit nerdier style with a key-hole bridge and a frame in layered acetate that comes in the se versions: Sun, Optical, Folded Sun as well as a Clip-on.

Moscot Miltzen is a round, full-vue frame, eponymously named after a family uncle in the Moscot family. This is the frame with the longest lineage.

First introduced in the 1930s and made famous by the likes of Andy Warhol, John Lennon, Harry Truman and Gandhi (to name a few), this classic P-3 shaped frame changed the whole eyewear fashion industry.

It comes in both a sun and optical version with a clip-on.

The Moscot Grunya model is a mix between the Lemtosh, Miltzen and Nebb and works great for all styles. This acetate frames comes with both optical and sun lenses in crystal glass.
