MIDO is the world's most important eyewear exhibition and Otticanet could obviously not miss it! Hundreds of stands from the smallest artisans to the bigger players such as Luxottica and Marcolin. The theme #livethewonder was repeated from last year and the wonder is greater for each year.
The trends of the season include beautifully engraved metal frames like the ones from cult-brand Matsuda, that will be one of the newcomers on Otticanet this summer. Another novelty on Otticanet is Illesteva, an American brand with a fresh and futuristic look.
The Seventies and Eighties are hot stuff and brands like Tom Ford, Cazal, Dita and Linda Farrow are all spot on with this trend. Big frames, masks, yellow and transparent lenses as well as clip-ons will be on everyones face this season.
Mido is so much more than just eyewear, it's friendship, inspiration, past and future, art and craftmanship.
Stay tuned on Otticanet for all the new collections released during Mido 2017!
