The new Bohemians: Sunglasses for spring

The new Bohemians: Sunglasses for spring
-

Spring is finally here! At least in the Northern hemisphere and we are all eager to get out in the sun after a long winter.

Otticanet has prepared a suggestive photoshoot in one of the most beautiful parks in the Italian Alps.

We have prepared a dedicated page for all the trends of the upcoming spring season that will be updated every week with a new trend.

We continue repeating that the Seventies are back and this season they are stronger than ever. What distinguish the Seventies glasses from the rest is the use of pale tinted lenses. Oh yes the yellow lens is back! Just have a look at Mariacristina wearing the Tom Ford Clint FT 0537. A bold tortoise frame in acetate with a double bridge and yellow lenses.

The Clint FT 0537 also comes in a black version with green tinted lenses and a honey version with pale brown lenses.

Elisa is wearing the Givenchy GV 7033/S glasses, another example that women can wear typical men’s styles as well. This style is a take on the classic “army” frame born in the seventies and made famous in several movies. A squared metal frame with the double bridge and lenses that works well with the Seventies mood.

Our colleague Eleonora is wearing the Prada SPR 59SS style. A more feminine take on the double bridge which is not so bold in this style. The lenses are lined with a border in acetate that shows the arm attachment as a decorative detail.

This style comes in four colourways: grey with yellow lenses, black with grey lenses, brown/tortoise with grey lenses and ivory with grey lenses.
