Dolce & Gabbana Eyewear: Mambo Italiano

Their new journey goes through one of the most ancient Italian decorative arts, the Mosaic.

Tiny little tesserae of few millimeters each, are pulled together with careful patience in order to create a unique warm pattern. The same warming feeling that is provided by the heat of the flame melting the coloured glass and reducing it in fragments, then manually get in position.

Source of inspiration of the Collection Dolce & Gabbana Mambo, the mosaic is proposed as printed motif or it is showed through the mounting of crystals on the surface.

Emblem of this Collection is model Dolce & Gabbana Mambo DG 2170b, a simple perimeter of colourful Swarovski crystals surrounds the round lenses laying down the golden frame. The Logo Dolce & Gabbana is engraved on the arms.

The fierce expression of the multi-coloured mediterranean shores appears with strength in sunglasses Dolce & Gabbana Mambo DG 4270. The printed mosaic pattern is dominated by the tints white, red, orange and blue. The blue shaded lenses brush the edges of the frame as the waves of the sea would do.
