Yes, vintage is all around! It takes all of us back: those who were teenagers back then and nostalgic of those beautiful days and the younger generation on the other hand, which was not there but looks up to that era with admiration and with a tone of envy that they weren’t there....
Time to re-create it. The Fall/Winter 2017/2018 season will be simple and bon ton at the same time, dominated by the elegance of the Seventies. Last week we were at this theme party and you know what everybody couldn’t do without? Exactly! Glasses and sunglasses.
It seems that eyewear became fashionable thanks to the Seventies: aviators, round, oversize, glittery, bold, geometric, flower patterns...You name it. They were a way to make a look-statement, express one’s ideas, beliefs, dreams...!
Here is a list of the most representative:
Gucci is an hymn to the Seventies and one frame that has been chosen to represent the collection is the Gucci GG0059S, oversize and a bit cat-eye, immensely vintage and elegant at the same time.

Dior has also dedicated a part of it latest collection to the Seventies, presenting 3 beautiful shapes in 3 different versions: The aviator-style Dior Lia, the round oversize Dior Bianca and the geometric extra large Dior Gaia.

Hey guys, vintage is not a woman thing of course!
